Meet The Team


Heather Tonkery

Registered Dental Assistant

Heather has been with Wayland Dental Care since August of 2007, after graduating from MCC with her license in Dental Hygiene. She has been a familiar face to many, growing up in the Wayland-Cohocton area and patients love her calm and comforting personality. Outside of work she loves spending time with her husband and two kids, especially camping in the summer!

 


Kellie Bossie

Registered Dental Assistant

Kellie received her Dental Hygiene license at MCC and graduated with honors. She has been with Wayland Dental Care since September 2008. She enjoys helping her patients obtain their optimal oral health. Patients enjoy her constant smile and bubbly personality. Outside work she enjoys being with her husband, chasing around her 2 sons, and making every day count!


Jane Levine

Office Manager

Jane brings over 40 years experience to our dental team, with experience in multiple areas of dentistry including dental assisting, treatment coordinator, front desk, specialty practices and management. Jane earned her expanded functions dental assisting certification from Continental Dental Assisting School in Rochester, NY and attended Hodges University in Naples, FL for marketing and business management.

Dentistry is Jane’s passion and seeing the positive impact it can make for a person is gratifying. Educating our patients with compassion and understanding in a positive manner will assist patients with their dental journey. Jane is driven to positively impact people’s lives by helping them achieve the smile they have always desired.

Jane feels blessed to be part of such a wonderful team of outstanding doctors and team members that she calls family. She is excited to provide her gift of hospitality and provide excellent care to the Wayland Community.

In her free time, Jane enjoys gardening, kayaking, biking, volunteering, reading, traveling, and spending time with family.


Diane Day

Receptionist

Diane comes with 30 years in business and secretarial skills. Diane grew up in the area and graduated from Wayland Cohocton School and lives locally. She always has a smile and makes everyone feel welcome at the office. Many patients already know Diane and look forward to seeing her at their visit. She has learned the dental protocol quickly and has become a valuable member of our team. Diane always makes the time to help patients with questions regarding dental procedures, insurance and billing. 

When Diane is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and being on the river.

 


Beth Clark

Receptionist

Beth joined our front desk staff as a receptionist and comes with 30 years experience in banking and financial services. She is the first person you will meet upon entering our office. In addition to greeting patients, Beth also assist the office by performing a variety of administrative services.

Outside of work, Beth is active with her church and has many interest. She enjoys camping and kayaking with her husband, gardening, yoga, reading and spending time family and grandchildren.


Danielle Dawson

Certified Dental Assistant

Danielle is our newest team member at WDC. She was born and raised in Florida and moved to New York with her daughter in 2019. She completed her Dental Assisting Certification in Orlando Florida in 2017. Danielle enjoys working with people and helping them achieve a great smile while educating them with their oral health.

Danielle likes spending time with her daughter and family and anything outside. Danielle like kayaking, hiking, four wheeling, cooking and the change of seasons in Upstate New York. Danielle and her daughter can experience sledding, building a snowman and a white Christmas for the first time.


Cora Thompson

Dental Assistant

Cora is our Lead  Assistant and come with a degree in Psychology which is great when working with patients. She enjoys dentistry and is passionate about educating patients and helping them with their dental journey. Cora's compassion for people has created many friendships with patients and staff. Cora makes everyday a great day and keeps the office team motivated.

Cora is a animal lover and has 3 cats and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with family, hiking, painting and drawing. Cora enjoys cooking  and treats the staff with some of her dishes.
